What is a Frookie you ask?? A Frookie is a giant 4 ounce double fudge chocolate sandwich cookie with a creamy center that is kept in your freezer and can be eaten frozen or after you thaw them out. We have always called it the freezer cookie, but one day my brother-in-law suggested we change the name to a Frookie, it fit, thus the Frookie was born! Now personally, I prefer these mouth watering delights frozen, but I would never turn one down even if it wasn't!! The Frookie is over 60 years old and was my personal favorite as a child.
